Casey is a senior at East HS here in Denver and I don't think she'd mind me saying that, for her, being photographed ranks right up their with oral surgery on her list of favorite things to do.
Casey's session got off to a bit of a rocky start, including a "hair crisis" and a torrential downpour about 10 minutes into our session. Thankfully, both passed quickly. The awesome team of stylists over at Park Hill's Bang Salon had Casey's hair photo-ready in about 15 minutes. And, Mother Nature saw fit to turn off the overhead sprinkler after about 10 minutes.
We worked in some interesting locations during Casey's session which, at one point, included posing on the roof of my car in a restaurant parking lot. Kudos to Casey for trusting my selections and enduring the torture of high heels to make the session a success. And, an additional big thanks to Casey's mom, Nancy, for pitching in as my photo assistant and Casey's wardrobe consultant.
In the end, we had a few laughs, created a really nice collection of pictures, and came away with a fun little "war story" Casey can tell as she shares her pictures. Plus, topping it all off, mom even splurged on some yummy take-out Lo Mein, in recognition of Casey's hard work (no veggies, ok, mom?...did you hear me?...mom?...no veggies...mom, no veggies...Mom, tell him, NO VEGGIES...MOM!....). ;-)
