Today I thought I'd play teacher and show you a fun alternative approach to cropping your photos. The way we've all grown up cropping in Photoshop is to drag a crop box around a given area of a photo and then then apply the crop. With the crop tool on its standard setting (Delete), what then happens is the pixels outside the cropped area are deleted. Once you close the photo, that crop is permanent.
What I will be showing you in this video is a method for cropping that simply hides the area outside the selected crop region. If you later decide on a different crop, you have that option, even if you have saved and closed the image! How cool is that?!
Enjoy the video and happy cropping!
